These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Laplace Louisiana Cookery website at https://laplacehillsborough.com (the "Site") and all services offered by Laplace Louisiana Cookery ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site and to purchase a subscription or product. By using the Site, you represent that you are 18 or older. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

2. Accounts

To access premium recipes, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription Billing Terms

We offer two subscription plans:

• Monthly Plan: $9.99 USD per month, billed every 30 days.
• Annual Plan: $59.99 USD per year, billed once per year.

All prices are in US dollars. Subscriptions begin immediately upon successful payment processing.

4. Auto-Renewal

YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AT THE END OF EACH BILLING PERIOD (MONTHLY OR ANNUAL) AT THE SAME RATE UNLESS YOU CANCEL BEFORE THE RENEWAL DATE. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period. You will receive a renewal reminder email at least 7 days before each billing date. To cancel, log in to your Account page and follow the cancellation instructions, or email us at info@laplacehillsborough.com.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Monthly subscriptions: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 30-day billing period. You retain access to all premium content until that date. Annual subscriptions: cancellations requested within 30 days of the initial purchase or most recent annual renewal date are eligible for a full refund. 6. Refund Policy

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site -- including but not limited to recipes, photographs, text, graphics, logos, and software -- is the exclusive property of Laplace Louisiana Cookery or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content from the Site without our prior written consent.

A subscription grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to access and use the recipe content for personal cooking purposes only. You may not share your login credentials, distribute recipe content to third parties, or use the content for commercial purposes.

8. Products and Physical Goods

Product listings on the Site are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders at any time. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION IS APPROXIMATE AND PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAPLACE LOUISIANA COOKERY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. It affects your legal rights.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site (collectively, "Disputes") will be resolved through binding arbitration, except as set forth below. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration will take place in North Carolina.

Class Action Waiver: YOU AND WE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR OUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If a court decides that this class action waiver is unenforceable, then the arbitration provision will be null and void.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
