Subscriptions
A Laplace Louisiana Cookery subscription gives you instant, unlimited access to all 115 Cajun and Creole recipes in our collection, including premium locked recipes, technique guides like our roux masterclass, and all new recipes added weekly. Both the monthly ($9.99) and annual ($59.99) plans include the same full access.
Click the "Subscribe" button at the top of any page, choose your plan (monthly or annual), fill in your name, email, and payment details, and complete checkout. Your account is created automatically and you have instant access to all recipes the moment the payment processes.
Yes, absolutely. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your Account page or by emailing us at info@laplacehillsborough.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain access until then. Annual subscriptions cancelled within the first 30 days receive a full refund. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable for the current period.
Yes. Monthly plans renew every 30 days and annual plans renew every 12 months, both at the same rate. You will receive a renewal reminder email 7 days before each renewal. You can cancel at any time before the renewal date to stop future charges.
We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within 30 days of your initial purchase, email us at info@laplacehillsborough.com with your account email and we will refund 100% of your payment, no questions asked. This guarantee applies to first-time subscriptions only.
Subscriptions are for individual use and tied to a single account. However, we do not restrict the number of devices you can use. You can log in from your phone, tablet, and computer with the same account. For household or family access, we ask that you purchase individual subscriptions.
Recipes
We currently have 115 recipes spanning breakfast, brunch, Cajun mains, Creole dishes, seafood, soups, salads, sides, and desserts. We add new recipes every week for subscribers. Our full list of upcoming recipes is available to subscribers on their Account page.
Yes. A selection of our most popular recipes are free and accessible to anyone without an account. These are marked with a green "Free" badge on the recipe listing page. All remaining recipes -- including all premium Cajun mains, seafood dishes, desserts, and technique guides -- require a subscription.
Yes. Every recipe includes a difficulty rating -- Easy, Medium, or Hard. Our Easy recipes are designed for confident beginners and include step-by-step instructions. Medium recipes assume some cooking experience. Hard recipes like our sourdough and croissant guides require practice and patience, but we walk you through every step in detail.
Calorie and nutritional information is approximate, calculated using standard USDA food composition data for common ingredients. Actual values will vary based on exact ingredient brands, portion sizes, and preparation methods. This information is provided for general guidance only and is not intended as medical or dietary advice. If you have specific nutritional needs or health conditions, consult a registered dietitian.
Yes. Every recipe page has a print-friendly layout. When you click the browser's print function on a recipe page, the navigation, footer, and non-essential content are hidden automatically so you get a clean, ink-friendly recipe card. Subscribers can also download PDF recipe cards for offline use.
Kitchen Shop
Yes. We ship all in-stock kitchen products to addresses in the continental United States. Standard shipping takes 5-8 business days. Orders over $75 qualify for free standard shipping. Expedited 2-day shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee. We do not currently ship internationally.
Physical kitchen products may be returned within 30 days of delivery in their original condition and packaging. To initiate a return, email us at info@laplacehillsborough.com with your order details. We will send a prepaid return label and issue a full refund within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item. Products showing signs of use may be subject to a restocking fee.
Every product in our shop has been personally tested by our kitchen shop curator, Isabelle Trahan, in her own home kitchen. We only list products that we use ourselves and would genuinely recommend to friends. We do not accept payment for product placement -- our listings are based on merit alone.
Account and Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All payments are processed securely using 256-bit SSL encryption. Your card details are never stored on our servers. We do not currently accept PayPal, bank transfers, or cryptocurrency.
To update your payment method, log in to your account and go to the Subscription section. Click "Update Payment Method" and enter your new card details. Your updated card will be charged at the next renewal date.
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter your account email address. You will receive a password reset link within 5 minutes. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. If you still can't access your account, email us at info@laplacehillsborough.com and we'll help you regain access.
